Irene Ambrogi / "Per tutte le volte che non ne abbiamo parlato (For everything we left unsaid)"

Irene Ambrogi (b. 1996, Vittorio Veneto, Italy) is a sculptor who earned her master's degree from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Now based in Berlin, her artistic explorations center on the intricate relationship between space, body, and material. From a young age, Ambrogi has been fascinated by the concept of spatial presence, a fascination that continues to inform her work. She masterfully manipulates materials to evoke imaginary landscapes, inviting viewers to navigate the terrain of her sculptures. Through performance, she delves into the evocative power of chaos and emptiness. Her work "Per tutte le volte che non ne abbiamo parlato (For everything we left unsaid)" exemplifies this approach, employing overlapping elements to create a sense of disorientation that ultimately serves as a catalyst for introspection and heightened awareness. Ambrogi encourages a physical engagement with her art, inviting viewers to confront the void and experience the emotional resonance of her creations.
