Gorgone / "UN"

Gorgone (Angelica O. O. Osawemwenze) (b. 2000, Pescara, Italy) is a multimedia artist who earned her bachelor's degree in sculpture from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Her practice seamlessly weaves together photography, poetry, and spatial interventions. Embracing a holistic worldview, Osawemwenze's work illuminates the nuances of diverse disciplines and perspectives. Her installation "UN" delves into the complexities of meaning lost in translation. Through a tapestry of sound, visuals, and text, she exposes the subtle gaps that emerge between intention and interpretation.
